The Kolb-Kulp-Culp Family Record Book of 1936

In 1936, a Kolb, Kulp, Culp History Committee prepared a Family Record Book found in a familiar brown binder titled, “Genealogical Reference Record of the Descendants of DIELMAN KOLB: Together with Descendants of Other Ancestors Bearing the Name Kolb, Kulp, Culp.”

Based on the History of the Kolb-Kulp-Culp Family by Daniel Kolb Cassel, published in 1895, it was an addendum for material not in Cassel’s book and a place where a family could record a family’s genealogy. Part of it is also genealogical history and stories of the Dielman Kolb sons, part of it highlights the several churches they and other Kolbs were members of, and part are just stories of interest and obituaries for Kolbs prominent in society and with the Reunion.

It was thought this Family Record book would “bring the annual Reunions closer into the lives of members of our Family.”
