The Kolb/Kulp/Culp DNA project has allowed participants to compare the DNA of men in their line to other Kolb/Kulp/Culp families. We have found that there are many Kolb/Kulp/Culp lines and that many are unrelated, i.e. there are pretty surely no common ancestors in the last 500 years for various lines. This may not be the answer we wanted, but it is an important and necessary part of our ancestry investigations.
