Matthias Kolb came to Philadelphia in 1744 and settled in Berks Co., PA d.1781 in Rockland township, Berks County.
His Descendants are heavily represented in Berks and Adams Counties.
Robert Angstadt, a descendant, grew up in the Kutztown area of Berks County and has been researching this family for many years.
